Getting your flu shot
The flu shot is pretty much for everyone. By getting yours, you not only slow the spread, but you reduce the severity of the illness should you get the flu.
At the Wexford Health Fair, we’ll have the following available:
- Influenza (flu) vaccine shots will be available to patients greater than 6 months of age*.
- High-dose vaccine shots will be available for patients 65 years of age and older.

Park in North Parking Lot C and cut across the courtyard to access the cafeteria. Parking is always free at Wexford Hospital.

Scheduling is highly recommended. Walk-ins will be available but limited.
Can't make it to the event?
If you can’t make it to the Wexford Health Fair, or if the time slot you want is already booked, AHN has flu shots available throughout the network.

Infants ≥6 months and children <9 years should receive a second dose administered four weeks after the first dose in previously unvaccinated patients. This will have to be coordinated with your pediatric provider.
