Medical Oncology Division

Schedule with a medical oncologist who treats cancer using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted agents, and endocrine-based therapy. Medical oncologists usually manage your care throughout the course of your cancer, collaborating with a team of cancer specialists to create a treatment plan specific to your diagnosis.

Radiation Oncology Division

Schedule with a radiation oncologist who treats cancer using radiation therapy, which uses beams of radiation to target and kill cancer cells. Using this precise and specialized approach helps ensure that radiation doesn’t harm other parts of your body, like your heart, lungs, or nearby organs. It may be used on its own or along with other treatments, such as chemotherapy or surgery.

Surgical Oncology Division

Schedule with a surgical oncologist who treats cancer using surgery to remove cancerous tumors and nearby tissue. Surgical oncologists can also take small tissue samples called biopsies to help diagnose cancer.

Cancer Navigation Team

Our patient navigation services help you and your loved ones manage the stages of your care. From diagnosis to after treatment, you get a dedicated navigation team to help you through your journey. Our cancer navigation team includes nurse navigators, financial counselors, social workers, dietitians and other supportive care professionals.

Exercise Oncology and Resilience Center

Led by physicians and certified physical training specialists, the AHN Exercise Oncology and Resilience Center provides “exercise as medicine” with a training plan personalized to each patient. The center aims to decrease treatment side effects, improve quality of life, and help produce better medical outcomes. Your AHN oncologist can refer you into this program.

Genetics Services

Schedule with a genetic counselor to review your family history if you have increased cancer risk due to a change or mutation in a specific gene. The genetic counselor will review your family history to assess risk and discuss options for genetic testing if needed.

The AHN Genomics and Precision Medicine Center allows us to fight your cancer on a cellular level and personalize your cancer treatment. For technical questions about the types and transport of tissue, technical specificity and sensitivity of the testing and the types of comprehensive assays we use, contact the genomics main lab.

Integrative Oncology Division

Schedule with an integrative oncologist who uses natural healing techniques like acupuncture, massage therapy, sound baths, and reiki therapy to help manage side effects from treatment. Integrative oncologists can also help with cosmetics, skin and nail care, and wigs.
