Screenings let us find cancer early, when it's most treatable. As part of a special Strike Out Cancer event, AHN Cancer Institute experts will be on-site at PNC Park conducting common cancer screenings.

Cancer screenings and eligibility

Based on your eligibility, you can schedule the following cancer screenings at no cost to you:

• Colorectal cancer: You'll receive a noninvasive fecal immunochemical test (FIT) to screen your stool in privacy. You may be eligible for this screening if you're 45+ years old.
• Head and neck cancer: The clinician will feel for any lumps on your neck, lips, gums, and cheeks during this physical exam, and may also examine your nose, mouth, throat, and tongue for any abnormalities. You may be eligible for this screening if you're 18+ years old.
• Prostate cancer: We're offering prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests for men 45+. This test measures the level of PSA — a substance made by the prostate — in your blood.
• Skin cancer: A clinician will provide a focused skin check — looking at moles, birthmarks, or any other marks that have an unusual color, size, shape, or texture. You may be eligible for skin cancer screening if you’re 18+ years old.

The Strike Out Cancer event is staffed by AHN expert clinicians who will provide these tests and review your results.

Patient Guides will be available to help schedule any additional follow-up appointments, and all results will be visible to you directly in MyChart.

When you call, you'll be asked about your age and past exams to help determine your eligibility for the cancer screenings being offered.
