Nursing Education

At Allegheny Health Network (AHN), our nurses are committed to helping our patients heal to their fullest potential — often through their most challenging times.

We’re committed to offering you the best educational opportunities and training resources available, including one of the best RN programs in PA.

AHN Schools of Nursing

AHN Schools of Nursing has options to fit your pace and schedule, with 22-month, full-time programs as well as a 32-month, nights-and-weekends program. Whichever path you choose, you’ll enjoy unique, well-rounded experiences including rich classroom study and simulation labs.

Citizens School of Nursing – full-time and part-time options

Citizens School of Nursing in the eastern suburb of Natrona Heights has both a 22-month, full-time program and a 32-month, nights-and-weekends program that prepare you for entry-level practice and the registered nurse (RN) licensure exam. The school partners closely with AHN Allegheny Valley Hospital, allowing you to get a nursing education that goes beyond a diploma.
