AHN OB-GYN Mobile Clinic

About the mobile clinic

The AHN Women’s Institute has partnered with First Steps and Beyond to bring important care closer to home for many patients. The clinic offers high-quality care for obstetrics, pregnancy, and routine wellness, and will primarily visit areas that have less access to women’s care like McKeesport, Charleroi, Braddock, Clairton, and McKees Rocks.

Our mobile clinic is just like your regular OB office — but on wheels. The state-of-the-art vehicle includes a consultation area, a station for blood draws, an exam room, and a bathroom. The clinic is fully wheelchair accessible with a lift and layout that can accommodate everyone.

Care that comes to you

Our mobile clinic provides comprehensive women’s health care and services at different locations across western Pennsylvania. We offer several important and preventive services to help you stay healthy, including:

  • Wellness education, health screenings, and risk assessment for conditions.
  • Routine and follow-up care, like Pap smears and pelvic exams.
  • Diagnostic evaluations for women’s health conditions.
  • Diagnosis of and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STI).

Obstetrics and pregnancy care

You can also visit our mobile clinic for prenatal care. We’ll make sure you and your baby are healthy throughout your pregnancy with routine exams and ultrasound monitoring.

AHN OB-GYN mobile clinic features

Despite our small size, our clinic has more than enough room for physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses to provide complete prenatal and gynecologic care. We have the same features as a full OB-GYN provider’s office, including:

  • A consultation area where we can discuss your care with you and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
  • An exam room that is fully equipped with an ultrasound machine, blood pressure cuff, and a standard exam table for gynecological exams.
  • A lab draw station.

Expert care from the AHN Women’s Institute

The AHN OB-GYN mobile clinic is staffed by AHN Women’s Institute physicians and nurse practitioners. Providers will change from location to location and may include:
