Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Adults

The Blazier Clinic offers a four-week, virtual cognitive behavioral therapy IOP for adults struggling with psychiatric disorders associated with symptoms of avoidance.

This program can help treat the following:

  • Depressive disorders
  • Bipolar spectrum disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Obsessive compulsive disorders
  • Trauma and stress related disorders
  • Self-destructive behaviors
  • Some personality disorders

This program requires a referral from an outpatient provider. The online group therapy sessions take place over Zoom on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Once your registration is confirmed, you’ll receive a Zoom meeting invitation via email.

Our treatment approach

The Blazier Clinic Adult IOP uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), an evidence-based form of treatment that can help with identifying unhelpful thoughts and unhealthy behavioral patterns that may be contributing to emotional avoidance and distress.

In this IOP, we focus on ways to challenge emotional avoidance using three core skills:

  • Mindful emotional awareness
  • Cognitive flexibility
  • Alternative actions

Our goal is to help you regulate and feel more comfortable with your emotions through skill-based practices.
