Neuroscience Institute Naming Rights

AHN’s Neuroscience Institute is a national leader in providing innovative, expert medical and surgical treatment to patients with complex brain, spine, and neurological conditions. Serving as an international referral center for all types of neurological conditions, the AHN Neuroscience Institute has been accredited and recognized nationally for the quality of its patient care. Dedicated to delivering a holistic approach, addressing not only the medical aspects of patients, but the emotional and social well-being of both patients and families. By integrating medical and social care, AHN is focused on creating the most complete patient journey possible – one that provides a customized experience for every individual and builds a lifelong link to the comprehensive clinical and holistic services they and their families will need.

Hemlock Building Naming Rights

The AHN Neuroscience Institute on the Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) Campus will be a five-story, fully renovated space that will include disease specific clinics, state-of-the-art diagnostic, medical, and surgical consult services.

The renovation has been designed to offer patients an easy-to-navigate space with a Custom Calming entrance with specialized artwork to provide sanctuary and to deepen the healing environment from the first point of entry.

Multidisciplinary Disease Centers/Clinics

Our teams of highly experienced physicians focus on specific disease areas and collaborate to develop treatment plans and education programs. Funding to support these disease centers such as the Memory Disorders and Movement Disorders Clinics and the Multiple Sclerosis Center helps to further advance patient care and research for complex neurological diseases.

Clinical rooms are designed to provide a dignified, comfortable, and patient-centered experience while maximizing clinical staff efficiency. Critical technology and virtual exam capabilities are used to share information with the patient and caregivers to support a seamless patient experience.

Waiting Areas

Waiting areas are designed to provide a variety of experiences to a variety of people. They will be used by patients prior to being seen by a physician and by family members during their loved one’s visit. Waiting areas offer a variety of sofas, chairs, and other soft seating, tables, and charging stations.

Educational Spaces

The education spaces and conference rooms will provide resource materials both printed and electronically for patients and families. It will offer a variety of seating choices and arrangements, including desk space, meeting spaces, and soft seating. Semi-private space will be available for those who may wish to have more privacy and for conversations with our patients, families and our navigator teams. These spaces are flexible based on the family and patient needs.

Fellowship Endowment Funds

Our clinical training programs prepare doctoral graduates for board certification in neuroscience sub-specialties. These fellowships help us recruit some of the brightest new physicians and train them to become future leaders in neuroscience care.

As a clinical campus for resident training, we provide practical experience for doctoral candidates. These funds provide financial support for the education and training of the next generation of physicians and researchers.
