The Occupational Health Center

The Occupational Health Center, a division of the Saint Vincent Health System, provides valuable, quality, outpatient services that recognize and effectively respond to the unique needs of the employment community. We can facilitate the delivery of programs for wellness, injury prevention, and ergonomic evaluation for your employees. We are the only occupational medicine program with integrated, on-site, full service physical and occupational therapy provided by Saint Vincent Rehab Solutions.

Feedback

Employer representatives receive verbal and written communication on all services provided to their employees. In addition, our case management staff functions as an employer-physician liaison and aggressively assists in getting employees back to work in a timely manner.

24/7 Drug and Alcohol Testing and The Occupational Health Center Drug & Alcohol Testing Consortium

Saint Vincent is the only facility in the region to offer 24/7 drug and alcohol testing. Testing is provided through the Saint Vincent Emergency Department.

The Occupational Health Center provides a third party administration service, known as The Occupational Health Center Drug and Alcohol Testing Consortium, to all interested employers having Federal DOT and/or company drug and alcohol testing requirements. The purpose of the program is to provide the administration of drug and alcohol testing for Consortium members in order to assist them in being compliant with the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and/or an individual company policy. We currently serve 53 companies with 979 active participants.

The occupational health center advantages

  • Easy access: appointments are not required for simple drug/alcohol testing, and walk-in injury care is always available.
  • Results are reported immediately, following lab notification, to the designated employer representative.
