Premier sports performance facilities at AHN

We deliver our services in some of Pennsylvania’s top sports performance facilities. We offer the latest in strength training, conditioning, rehabilitation, and recovery equipment. AHN is also home to the only Sports Science Lab in the region offering advanced sports performance technologies, including an anti-gravity treadmill, Dynavision™ visuomotor system, cryo sauna chamber, vibration therapy modalities, and sequential air compression recovery boots.

Our sports performance services

AHN’s sports performance services include:

• Physical therapy/Sports rehabilitation: Our physical therapists are expert practitioners and are direct-access certified, which means they treat patients without a physician’s prescription or referral for up to 30 days. This direct access saves the patient time by having the injury evaluated and triaged faster, helping athletes get back in the game as quickly as possible.
• Strength training and conditioning: Our certified strength and conditioning specialists customize programs to the person, sport and position using evidence based and time tested exercises. These exercises and routines are designed to help you improve movement, function and build strength, cardiovascular fitness, power, speed and agility. We work with people of all ages and activity levels from young beginners to professional athletes. Learn more about our strength training services.
• Recovery services: We offer services and modalities that accelerate muscle tissue healing such as the cryo sauna, vibration drums, platforms and handheld devices, full length leg compression boots, the game ready cold water compression, assisted hands on stretches and more. • Baseball/Softball skill training: Our sports performance baseball and softball academy helps baseball and softball players improve their skills and collaborate with our sports medicine and performance team to help reduce risk for injury.
